Programs

Trilogy House is home to ten adult men addicted to drugs and/or alcohol. Trilogy House offers a unique and successful residential alcohol and drug recovery program, which includes:

  • Attendance at daily AA / NA meetings
  • 4-12 months in residence
  • Open door to the healing work of the recovery community
  • DVD recovery program consisting of watching good moves in a relaxing atmosphere
  • Support for legal or employment issues
  • Daily guided group and peer counselling sessions
  • Transportation for residents to meetings, appointments etc., when necessary
  • Support and assistance in obtaining medical and dental services
  • Assistance with developing goals and strategies
  • Guided Step Study sessions with an Accredited Counselor
  • Operates under the guidelines of the Assisted Living Registrar

Residents provide volunteer help with program operations, taking responsibility for meal planning, preparation, serving and cleanup. Laundry, security, home cleaning, yard work and simple general maintenance - all aspects of the mutual-help approach.

Residents also attend a Nar-Anon meeting - the organization for the families and friends of addicts. Residents are moved by the stories they hear "from the other side" regarding the devastation addiction causes.

Upon completion, residents receive an Award of Achievement in fulfilling the recovery program as they leave Trilogy House to live independently. The Society offers on-going Alumni support.
